I was born and raised in Southern California. I was given my first camera when I 13 years old, I haven't put it down since. One of my biggest joys in life is telling meaningful stories through a photograph or video. Bringing people into that experience has lead me to many opportunities in my marketing career. After graduating high school I worked in logistics for the Department of Defense. In those 8 years I learned how to manage materials, people, and the importance of organization. About 5 years in I got the itch to start a business. I was always fascinated by fashion and how vintage military aesthetics was being applied to brands all over the world. I created a face-mask company called Cilmera. It was a fashionable and most importantly functional. The years I spent developing and marketing the product would open my eyes to a whole new world of entrepreneurship. The skills I learned on that journey would lead to me to where I am today. The biggest turn of events was when I saw an opportunity in the swimming pool industry. My best friend started a pool service and repair business in Scottsdale Arizona. While visiting over a 4th of July break I offered to assist in cleaning pools on his route. It was hard work, hot, but full of opportunities! After researching local competition and the industry as a whole I noticed that nobody was being very aggressive with their brand, website, reviews, or social media. I came in as part owner and developed a brand and business that would be the #1 pool service and repair provider in Scottsdale Arizona. As time went on we noticed there was little information on how to be more knowledgeable and successful in the pool industry space. That's when Pool Chasers Podcast was born. On a weekly basis since 2017 we speak with industry leaders and professionals on how to be better. The podcast has not only helped the industry as a whole but has given us incredible connections to brands and people at the top of their game. Currently, I am the co-host of the Pool Chasers Podcast, Marketing Manager for JMax Companies, I manage and produce the AFT Construction Podcast, Build Magazine Podcast, Electrical Distribution Solutions Podcast. I assist in photography, video, drone photo/video, social media management, website development/management and consult with brands on their digital media presence.
