Multi-skilled Structural Technician & BIM Manager with over 20 years experience(4 years United Kingdom, 6 years South Africa & 15 years New Zealand).I have a wide variety of experience and projects which I have been involved in. These include various refurbishments projects, big & small. New build residential & commercial projects in low cost housing, light gauge steel, schools, theatres & apartments. I have also had experience in various industrial structures including a full installation of a wood chipping plant in the Congo. Whilst in NZ I also had the rare opportunity to work on some large structural artwork pieces that can be viewed around the world. These artwork projects allowed for me to take on the role of Project Manager. These varied projects have been in a mixture of steel, reinforced concrete & pre-cast concrete structures allowing me to gain experience in steel, reinforced concrete & pre-cast concrete detailing & scheduling. I enjoy being involved in projects right from initial design concepts through to completion and taking on the responsibility of lead drafter. I am hard working, dedicated and eager to learn new disciplines & practices. I bring with me a solid CAD background and would be a value to any design team.
