About Greg Van Sande

Greg Van Sande has over fourty years of experience in structural analysis, design, project management and construction administrations.He began his engineering career in 1973 at Arizona Prestressed Concrete Company as assistant to the Chief Engineer providing engineering design of long span precast / prestressed concrete structural components. He further diversified his experience in Phoenix, Arizona, with the Structural Engineering firms of Caruso, Parke & Associates, Inc. Structural Engineers (now CH2M) and Adam, Hamlyn, Anderson Consulting Engineers (now DMJM), where he was project engineer, performing structural design and construction administration on major commercial and education buildings.A position with the firm of Peter W. Ehlen & Associates Structural Engineers brought Mr. Van Sande to Santa Barbara in 1978.In April, 1984, he joined in partnership with Lynn Howard as Vice President of Howard and Van Sande Structural Consultants, Inc. and in 2006, he became President of Van Sande Structural Consultants, Inc.
