Responsible for development of Sunpower’s advanced micro-inverters and portions of their PV monitoring solution encompassing leadership of electrical, mechanical and SW/FW teams as well as associated regulatory, reliability and Program Management functions. Responsible for a > $6M Development Budget. Site leader for Sunpower's SPTX-South site. During this time, I managed significant upgrades to this site's lab infrastructure and electrical power service.

Reporting to the CEO, I was responsible for all hardware and software product development, Product validation, Reliability, Regulatory and Program Management of SolarBridge’s micro-inverters, Power Manager Gateway and Power Portal web-based monitoring system. Responsible for ~ 35 person org.

Responsible for worldwide Server Sustaining Engineering as well as Development of Dell’s 4-socket, Intel based Servers. Developed and executed move of much of server sustaining function to Dell’s Bangalore India Development Center. Built top to bottom plan, and worked with the receiving Director in India to drive our respective teams to implement the transition ahead of schedule. This resulted in significant labor cost reductions and higher efficiency.

Managed a team of Systems Engineers and a large, matrixed cross-functional extended team to deliver platforms on schedule. These were "In-house" designs in all aspects, vs. ODM developed. Received the PG (Product Group) Excellence Award for my leading role in using this program to institute much improved processes and engineering rigor into the organization.
