Provided project level oversight for hospitality, health care, commercial and public institutions across the Western United States. Key Projects:Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, Hollywood, California: Renovation, expansion and conversion of a 640-room Hollywood landmark on a tight site, including the construction of a new 22-story concrete tower and its mechanical connection to an existing 22-story tower so that they act as one during a seismic event. Hollywood Bowl, Stage and Shell, Hollywood, California: Replacement of the Hollywood Bowl's famous shell including an adjustable acoustic canopy, lighting and audio systems, a hydraulic elevator, integrated pyrotechnics platforms, and a new rotating stage. Century City Doctors Hospital, Century City, California: Refurbishment of an existing nine-story hospital building. Scope included upgrades to existing finishes to become an outpatient facility. LACMA Transformation and Resnick Pavilion, Los Angeles, California: Multi-year, multi-phased construction initiative to unify and expand the museum's campus. Designed by Renzo Piano, work included the below-grade parking structure, seismic upgrades, the reconfiguration of the BP Grand entryway, the new gallery space of the Ahmanson Building, a new central plant and an outdoor pavilion, and the Resnick Pavilion. The project won an AIA|LA Presidential Award for Building Team of the Year.The Broad, Los Angeles, California: New 3-story museum above a 3-story parking structure displaying modern art from the collection of Eli and Edythe Broad in expansive, column-free galleries bathed in natural light. The museum also provides state-of-the-art storage for archival resources. The exterior covering of interconnecting concrete trapezoids conceals the structure's weight-bearing walls, while admitting light and permitting passers-by to see inside. The project was a 2018 recipient of an American Institute of Architects (AIA) Institute Honor Award.
