Co-Head of the Municipal Cash Management Division at Hilltop Securities Asset Management

Co-manager of Hilltop’s Investment Management Services Division with responsibility for 48 institutional clients and over $17 billion of fixed income assets.• Oversight of two portfolio managers and one investment analyst in the management of fixed income portfolios for Hilltop’s municipal client base • Work with clients to develop and implement risk appropriate strategies that comply with investment policy and state law • Perform portfolio analysis, policy review, strategy development, asset allocation, cash flow modeling, security analysis, and trade execution• Maintain strong ties with broker/dealer community to source investments and generate trade ideas. Our division executed over 900 transactions with a par value of $7.7 billion during 2020• Monitor financial markets, economic data, and monetary policy to assess impact on investment strategies and adjust as necessary• Prepare comprehensive client investment reports, review results and present to client management and governing boards• Promote business development efforts by presenting at industry conferences on investment related topics
