Greg has joined FILMSERVICE, as Director of Business Development, U.S. Founded in 1996, FILMSERVICE is a full-service international production company, of TV commercials and still shoots, with headquarters based in Prague - Czech Republic and offices in Slovakia and Russia. Greg opens the U.S office/Los Angeles.Prior, he had various successful consulting projects with: tech start-up Flag Universal, CFS Productions and Strictly Media (programmatic digital advertising).Before taking a world-travel hiatus, Greg held Director roles at Adara (connecting brands/audiences of frequent travelers and loyalty-driven data) and two premier video networks - BBE (purchased by Specific Media) and YuMe, both focusing on in-stream, pre-roll video ads across media platforms- online, mobile and connected TV.Before returning to LA, Greg enjoyed a two-year post in Chicago as Multi-Media Advertising Sales Director for The Wall Street Journal (Dow Jones, Barron's,Marketwatch), managing a winning sales team of digital/print executives, driving more than $35M/year. Prior to joining WSJ, Greg was Western Region Sales Director for Tribune Interactive, managing the LA and San Francisco digital offices, while also overseeing Seattle and Portland, leading teams for the award-winning Tribune properties: LATimes, ChicagoTribune, and Newsday, among many other news and entertainment sites. Prior to LA, Greg was an AE for Tribune Interactive in New York. Starting his online sales career in 2001 with Ticketmaster/Citysearch.com/IAC, in NY, Greg launched his advertising sales career within the walls of several independent publishing houses; Director of Advertising for Troika Magazine/Lone Tout Publications, Inc., the adventure travel publication Blue Magazine/Blue Media Ventures, Spotlight Magazine, Japanese Lifestyle/USA (Meadow Publications); Sweet Spot Media Group (outdoor) - and as his foray into media, worked as an editor, travel writer and copywriter. Greg currently lives in Long Beach, California
