Projects include:RioTinto, Alcan (Gove, NT)Coming in as Area Capital Leader for a remote Arnhemland Alumina Refinery with serious functional and design issues in relation to their 150 MW power station, Greg had total responsibility for the redesign of all capital works facilities that included the Boiler Plant, Tank Farms, Jetty loading facilities, Evaporation Unit and all Utility supplies. ● Budget $2 million● Team size: 20 staff plus construction contractors● Greg’s projects within the program completed on time and on budget Incitec-Pivot (Phosphate Hill, QLD) A $400 million turnkey/”Greenfields” project, Greg was responsible for developing the scope, logistics for module transport, design and construction planning through to capital costing. The project involved the development of a uniquely engineered solution which included site preparation works, full permanent site drainage, creek diversion designs, flood mitigation and plan power systems. ● Budget: $400 million ● Team size: 30Incitec-Pivot (Mt Isa, QLD)Engaged to complete the design for a totally revamped and upgraded 3600t/d Sulphuric Acid Plant in Mt Isa. As Project Engineer, Greg was responsible for everything from concept development and design, complex environmental scoping and railay logistics through to capital costing. ● Budget: $70 million ● Team size: 20Origin Energy (Yola Offshore Platform)As Project Manager, Greg was responsible for the Concept, FEED and Detailed Design for two new wells and flow-lines to Yolla A; including associated instrumentation and equipment, the installation of the conductor and all modifications for the Rig.● Budget: $52 million (with responsibility for $38 million)● Team size: 60 including engineers, design, construction and procurement● Project completed within tight time and budget constraints

Greg worked on a variety of high profile projects during his 8 years with Shedden UHDE, sample projects below:Mobil Altona Refinery, Altona Clean Fuels Venture (ACFV)With the introduction of the “Clean Fuel Bill”, Mobil engaged Greg on the Benzene & Sulphur Reduction Project to Project Engineer 14 Benzene Reduction Modules within their existing plant. This included the added challenge of being a live plant during the implementation.● Front-end design – FEED achieved an excellent best practice IPA rating● Supervised detailed engineering design and offsite construction of 8 large and 6 smaller modules ● Module design reduced the site construction cost and duration by 30% ● Budget: $110 million● Team size: 80 with additional 200 construction contractors● Completed within a tight accelerated schedule and on budget Shell Geelong Refinery (Hydro Desulphurisation Clean Fuels Unit)A “Greenfield” project, Greg managed all design and supply of major equipment packages and was also responsible for the development of the initial front-end design which incorporated substantial modularization● Budget: $120 million ● Team size: 80 Design, 250 Construction ● Project completed on time and within budgetOrigin – Compression Installation & Gas Plant De-bottleneckingDuring the gas crisis in Victoria in 1999 following the Longford explosion, Greg was Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager tasked with all aspects of project design and development to upgrade and double the output of an existing gas plant. The project included drilling 2 new gas wells, 2 new pipelines from the well to the plant and installation of a major compression module. The project was the only one completed on schedule and within budget by any company in the region at that time and also with a clear safety record. ● Project completed within 3 months● Budget: $15 million ($3 million direct responsibility)● Team size: 30 Engineers/Designers plus 60 construction contractors
