Greg is the President and owner of Maverick Communications, Atlantic Canada’s leading experiential and ambient media marketing company. With more than 250 brand ambassadors across Atlantic Canada, and a suite of ambient media technologies, products, and vehicles Maverick works with the region’s largest creative agencies, media buyers, and a roster of major corporate clients to help bring brands to life for its clients. Greg Whynot is a serial entrepreneur with business interests and proven expertise in marketing, franchising, business development, real-estate, and start-up sectors. Greg has a keen interest in creating vertically orientated businesses, and is a passionate supporter of the business community in the Annapolis Valley. Greg is also a franchisee with Boston Pizza New Minas and Yarmouth, and oversees operations for both locations. In addition, Greg holds interest in Kent Field Estates, one of the largest residential property owner and developers in Southwest Nova Scotia, Thermo Homes, an installation spray foam business based, as well as Equilibrium Engineering, an environmental engineering firm. Thermo Homes was awarded `Micro-business of the Year`, and Equilibrium Engineering was awarded `New Business of the Year` by the Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce in 2012.Greg holds a Bachelors of Commerce from St. Mary’s University, and current sits on the board of directors for IPOANS (Independent Property Owners of Nova Scotia).
