My career within Dent who specialize in heavy civil construction began in 2020. From this opportunity I quickly established myself as an effective detailed orientated quality control technician. To help the organization and make myself a highly valued asset I took every opportunity to expand my knowledge, while continuing to guide and share my knowledge with both management and labour forces alike. From constantly improving and seeking opportunities I've been able to take over multiple roles such as estimation, traffic management and project management/co-ordination. My calm demeanor, quick problem solving in the field, and ability to work well within a team has resulted in numerous jobs getting smoothly completed and turned over. Above all I pride myself on my ability to step up and get the job done when difficult situations arise.

Working within an engineering team to design and model trailers used for extreme temperature oil extraction taught me the fundamentals of CAD design. Using feedback from the client and manufacturers I updated various parts which accounted for their location, orientation, integration and strength. This information was submitted in reports that were sent out to be reviewed and stamped. SolidWorks was my main design software used for modeling, FEA and flow analysis'.

Modern Niagara specializes in installing commercial HVAC and plumbing systems. During my time there I coordinated 13 projects with a combined value of over 100 million dollars. Some of my responsibilities included pricing change orders, tracking invoices, writing RFI's, take-offs and ordering supplies.

My internship with the Department of Defence was centered around monitoring the utility usage for the navy's 1,000+ buildings on the west coast. To make this task manageable I screened their catalogue of buildings and benchmarked the buildings that stood out. To help fix these targeted buildings I researched available incentives, performed cost-analysis', and proposed ways to reduce waste. A side project throughout this internship was to perform an audit of the implemented energy saving strategies along with a utility consumption forecast to see if their program was on pace to meet their 2030 target.

This pulp and paper mill was my first job in the engineering field. The factory had lots of equipment that needed to be operational 24/7 or else production would be interrupted. My department was focused on determining what was about to break so it could be pre-emptively fixed at a scheduled time. A few of my duties involved measuring the bearings vibration levels, calculating belt tensions, and determining the machines thermal growth to align the shafts precisely.
