Responsible for managing, maintaining and growing sales in the South of England across 3 channels; Retail, Direct to School and Trutex Direct (B2C). The role involves understanding clients requirements and presenting our product in a clear and compelling way and ensuring that they are receiving the highest standard of customer service.

Schoolwear

Responsible for driving new sales and schools into the schoolwear buying office. Responsible for managing existing schools and ensuring that their uniform is available and that they and the parents received unrivaled customer service.

Responsible for driving new business into the corporate sales team, with a particular focus on the merchandise element of the John Lewis B2B portfolio. Also responsible for managing and retaining accounts.

Responsible for the sales and administration of the merchandise area of John Lewis Corporate Sales. This included managing relationships with our existing client base and building sales of the John Lewis B2B portfolio into new client areas.

Responsible for order processing and managing the seasonal hamper temp. team. Also involved training the John Lewis store catering teams on wine knowledge and selling skills.

I was responsible for managing a team of 5 rolling out and expanding the usage of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) to the John Lewis supplier base.

I worked on a number of departments on the shop floor in Oxford Street my last position was Section Manager in Audio and Television with specific responsibility for Gaming and Telecommunications I was then the Furniture and Beds administration Section Manager at Peter Jones shortly before moving to Head office to manage the EDI team.
