Dacra is a real estate development company that owns and operates a 1m sq. ft. creative neighborhood and shopping destination called the Miami Design District through a joint venture with Dacra, L Catterton Real Estate, and Brookfield Properties. This partnership has overseen the development and operation of this internationally acclaimed, architecturally significant 18-square block LEED-certified neighborhood and made it a thriving destination known for restaurants, museums, public art, and global flagship retail locations for brands like Cartier, Chanel, Gucci, Hermes, and Louis Vuitton among its 200+ tenants.Reporting to the COO, I have helped to fuel growth and drive best-in-class company operations by providing data-led insights across all areas of the company from development and construction to leasing, advertising and marketing, public art installations, and events. I was key to standardizing Dacra’s FP&A process by implementing Argus Enterprise software, dramatically improving the company’s ability to plan for the future of the business while also putting an established face on an entrepreneurial company. I currently lead the annual strategic planning and operating budget process for the Miami Design District and various subsidiary companies – working alongside the department heads to present annual 3-year plans to senior leadership and secure organizational buy-in.Most recently, I have been helping to grow the company’s capital markets capabilities and have been instrumental in developing and managing relationships with brokers and lenders to execute the company’s financing strategies, securing $1B of new debt.As Dacra embarks on a fourth phase of development, which will add an additional million square feet to the project, I will be responsible for managing business plans for various development projects and ensuring the company continues to capitalize on high-impact opportunities to realize its long-term strategic vision.

As Director of Marketing, I worked with the CEO to develop corporate brand identity, manage the company's presence on social media, and assist with the leasing of multifamily and office space. In my capacity as Development Manager, I produced business plans and financial models for prospective partners and lenders. I was also responsible for managing the company’s relationships with general contractors, architects, engineers, and city officials during the due diligence process for the $10m acquisition and $12m boutique hotel renovation of a historically preserved building in Downtown Miami.Produced business plans and financial models for partners, investors, and lenders

I was recruited to help transform a sports and pop culture website into an advertising agency, producing original branded content in real-time around consumer insights, events, and cultural trends. I was responsible for designing a content production process, developing strategic briefs, and managing a team of 15 art directors and copywriters to drive implementation of the agency's daily branded content offering. Reporting to the CEO, and working cross-functionally with the Creative Director, I helped build and sell this service to brands such as Frito-Lay, FOX Television, KIA Motors, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car and positioned the agency for its eventual sale to Publicis Groupe, a multinational advertising and PR company.

Formally known as J. Walter Thompson, JWT is a global advertising agency that’s part of the WPP group of companies, currently operating as Wunderman Thompson. I was hired to join the Kraft account team and during my tenure I managed advertising campaigns for Halls and Stride Gum. I later transitioned to the agency’s digital strategy department where I managed digital and social campaigns for brands like Stride and HSBC. Further, I helped sell JWT’s Brand Journalism service to clients like Qualcomm, allowing brands to become content publishers of original content.
