Gregangelo's multi-media arts infatuation and earnest desire to share meaningful story-telling with guests, has turned a single structure of a house, over a thirty-three year creative binge (and continuing), into the profound 27-room 'Gregangelo Museum' or 'Multi-verse': a labyrinthine wonderland of sensory rooms with secret passage ways, original characters from every corner of the imagination, and artifacts and immersive installations crafted from the hands of 50 + Velocity Artists . One international visitor to the Gregangelo Museum seemed to say it all with the quintessential comment: "I will never be impressed again." Gregangelo is responsible for the design, creation and programming in the residence which serves as 'Circus headquarters' , as well as a sought after San Francisco arts attraction, unusual event and theatrical space which is open to the public year round by appointment.

From the tiniest subatomic particles, to the most majestic of spiraling galaxies, all material elements of nature revolve. It is the first, and will be the last story told by the universe…Since the time of Ancient Egypt, mystic men – members of secret societies, harnessed this knowledge by ceremoniously whirling, imitating the spiraling structure of life and the cosmos. By spinning into a state of blissful euphoria, they transcended the physical limitations of gravity, their consciousness peaked, their bodies bridged earthly and heavenly (or eternal ) spheres.This ceremony of whirling resurfaced in 13th century Turkey where it was performed by dervishes, members of the mystic brotherhoods, who were often philosophers, poets and astronomers.Combining these ancient concepts with his own interpretation, Gregangelo has been performing his uniquely secular adaptation of the whirling dervish for over three decades, dazzling and intriguing general audiences worldwide. His spectacular costumes represent the omnipresent realm of the cosmos and eternity. As he sheds layer by layer, the story morphs from the infinite expanse of the Universe to our galaxy, to our solar system, to Earth and finally to the individual.

A native San Franciscan, artist, and entertainer who has dedicated his life and home to creating immersive cultural encounters and inspiring connections between adventurous travelers, locals, and all those who explore off the beaten path. Greg has a special passion for connecting people and bringing their stories to life. With the help of over 50 artists nearly 40 years, he has converted his home into a living work of art that supports these types of genuine interactions. The Gregangelo Museum was created as a platform for Velocity Circus and has organically transformed into a space that accommodates immersive tour experiences, hosts intimate events, and serves as a hub for artists to work and create, all in the spirit of illuminating the creativity that we all have within us. When he’s not directly creating, Gregangelo enjoys reading, exploring local ethnic food, discovering new music, watching insightful, thought provoking films, and navigating the streets of San Francisco on his roller skates.
