• Responsibilities: My role within Ford has been to manage the Functional Safety (FUSA) of features within control systems through the V model of the systems engineering product development life cycle.Achievements
• Only Australian Ford employee to complete specialist Functional Safety training at Ford North America
• Elimination of a costly sensor on all front and rear axles resulting in cost reductions
• Finding a strategy which eliminated an expensive alternate solution resulting in major cost reductions
• Generated an idea which resulted in the registering of a Patent
• 1st person to carry out functional safety studies within Ford of Australia aligned with ISO 26262

• Responsibilities: My role within Fabco has been to design special purpose heavy duty axle components. As well as to carry out business development activities for Fabco products to existing Defense customers in.
• Finding and sourcing new commercially available off the shelf components from suppliers worldwide
• Reconfiguring the design to a specific customer requirement for an electric bus application
• Successfully implementing a design based on existing tooling with provision for tyre pressure adjustment

• Meeting targets for locally manufactured content
• Project management and design of a clean sheet design military vehicle through to production and commissioning

• Creating a design philosophy utilizing top down design intent in Creo which included space claims and skeletons which saved design time and improves modelling and assembly errors
• Successfully overseeing the companies first newly design project in 5 years

• Project management and design of 6 major turnkey projects completed from 2007 until 2013
• 2009 Bailey Cars received a government backed industrial innovation grant to build a carbon fibre racing vehicle chassis and project successfully completed
• Bailey LMP 2 arguably the most advanced sports car ever designed and built in South Africa
• Project management and design of a Prepreg carbon fiber chassis as well as all required tooling
• Design of a racing car to comply with the FIA and A.C.O regulations and safety standards for 2012
