Together, we:• Led successful rebrand and the creation of a new mission statement.• 82% growth to reach full enrollment. Reduced reliance on aid to fill seats. Improved retention from 65% to 91%.• 91% family participation in Annual Fund. Led successful fundraising for an Art Studio, IDEAS Kitchen (maker space), gym remodel, on-campus science lab, Mobile Science Lab, and faculty workspaces.• Developed 10-year financial model to guide strategic thinking on tuition, salaries, financial aid, and options for campus acquisition. Grew cash reserves by 400%. Tuition increases were held to 3-3.5%. Exceeded the budgeted surplus every year.• Created salary scale moving salaries to the 75th percentile of peer schools or above. Co-created a new, interdisciplinary Humanities course for 10th grade.• Project Week Coordinator: coordinated a week-long, school-wide experiential learning program that sent 491 kids anywhere from Washington State to Uruguay.• Service Learning Director: created a new "Service Leaders" program and led schoolwide Service Days where all 491 students engaged in purposeful service learning.• Advisory Team Leader: led a team of five teachers and coordinated student life for the senior class.• Facilitated groups of 50-200 students on the NAIS Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC) Faculty, in 2007, in Boston, Massachusetts.• Led several 3-day student leadership retreats for Rainier Scholars, a 12-year program that offers a pathway to college graduation for low-income students of color.• After leaving Overlake as a faculty member, was hired as an independent consultant to facilitate the school's Diversity Strategic Plan in partnership with the board, faculty, and staff. -
