Documentation LeadI've spent the last three years as the Documentation Lead for Sencha. I created API docs, guides, examples, and tutorials for 12 unique products. I also assisted in the development of a JAVA-based docs parser called Doxi. Our docs team created multiple Node-based tools that processed Doxi's output and markdown to generate all of the material on https://docs.sencha.com. In addition to content generation, I was responsible for releasing the product documentation by way of creating and maintaining TeamCity CI builds.Support Engineer (and Support Lead)I worked as a Support Engineer for my first 2 years at Sencha. Inky was a company created by Lance Bradley and myself. Lance began developing a natural language based search engine. I started helping him with the massive undertaking. We soon added Matt Cullen and Cary Stronach to the cast and got a chunk of investment to continue our development. My role was concept development, specific module creation (calculator, wikipedia, pruning, conversions, telephone numbers, addresses, etc.), server setup/administration and finances.

Nexgenesis was a mobile publishing company that designed and developed mobile applications, and created mobile content. My position revolved mostly around modifying video, images and audio to be optimally displayed on roughly 50 mobile devices. I also began my "programming" education with this company in addition to a gaining a fuller understanding of security, standards and QA.

DHTV Productions is a video production company in Kansas City that specializes in corporate video and some commercial video. My position consisted mostly of video editing and camera operation. I began learning After Effects (post production effects) and had a light introduction to LightWave 3D modeling. I became quite proficient at using Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, After Effects, Media 100 and many other video specific programs.
