End user training and on-the-floor support at the Los Angeles Times and Orlando Sentinel. NewsGate is a CCI Europe software package that manages content for newspapers, magazines and other publications, enabling one-time editing for feeds to Web sites, mobile devices and printing plants.

* Managed and coordinated Los Angeles project encompassing conception, planning and implementing a Tribune-wide content management system with 1,000+ local users at newspaper and latimes.com.* Trained 950 Editorial employees in the software and new workflow. * Migrated all Los Angeles Times page production, archiving and web publishing to the new system in four weeks. * Integrated system output with archive and photo databases. Analyzed and reviewed work practices, software and procedures. In a newspaper, those tasks include information gathering and transmission, document management and data management, record archiving and data preservation, page design and publishing. Trained Los Angeles Times Editorial staff in the editing software, e-mail and Outlook, and latimes.com web publishing tools. Organized and scheduled the training staff. Wrote and edited manuals and trainee "take-away" materials.
