Hired for computer skills by a early producer of Compact Disc glass masters. The founding team was sent to Compact Disc pioneer Philips, Netherlands [qq] for training in laser lithography and optical storage control systems. Following equipment installation and testing of glass master production, Benson became head of international marketing and CD-ROM endeavors.
