Below is a position description:As Director of Grassroots Development and Engagement at the Florida Chamber of Commerce I partner with large employers and chambers of commerce throughout Florida to engage their employees or members to contact legislators in an effort to help affect positive pro-business change in their respective industries. I am the project manager for three projects here at the Florida Chamber, including our Florida Wins employer-to-employee news and information program. Florida Wins is a web-based platform for Florida Chamber partners to use in an effort to increase voter registration and issue awareness. I also lead animated video production efforts. As a member of the communications team at the Florida Chamber it is my duty to identify communications opportunities, draft messages, and distribute those messages to the appropriate audiences. From a social media perspective, I manage the organization's Facebook page and work with the Director of New Media to ensure content is up-to-date and the graphics achieve the Florida Chamber's measurable results. I am also the project manager for two other initiatives at the Florida Chamber of Commerce, in which I manage team members to achieve large organizational goals.Finally, I lead emergency management initiatives at the Florida Chamber (hurricane/disaster preparedness and response).

At the direction of the CEO, I developed content for multiple real estate websites, researched keywords that were searched the most for real estate purposes, and engaged in the search engine optimization (SEO) process to improve website traffic. I worked for a total of 5 years at Black Crow Broadcasting. During these 5 years, I was Host of the Bottom Line Radio Program (WNDB-AM 1150), the Executive Producer of the Marc Bernier Radio Show (WNDB-AM 1150), Radio Personality that performed air shifts at 95.7 WHOG-FM, and 103.3 WVYB-FM. I also created audio commercials and did private production and voice-over work for television advertisements.
