Over the course of his career, Greg has held various leadership roles within the Technology Sector from Director to CEO to Advisor. Titles aside, he prides himself on being a leader with a people-first mentality and a focus on building an inclusive company culture of industry experts. Greg’s philosophy for success is "you don't build a business, you build people, and then people build the business." Greg and his team have done just that at Blue Acorn iCi. By surrounding themselves with people who are above-average and allowing them to showcase and further develop their expertise, they have created a level of service for their clients that is unparalleled in the industry. Throughout his tenure at Blue Acorn iCi, Greg has led the efforts to attract a strong roster of clients, including Charter (formerly Time Warner Cable), Delhaize (Food Lion), Le Creuset, Nascar, Panera Bread, SAS, Ingersoll Rand, and AICPA. Because of the incredibly talented team built at Blue Acorn iCi, over 75% of their clients are return customers, a metric Greg is immensely proud of. In addition to his day-to-day, Greg has had the privilege to speak on multiple industry events – most recently about the role of leadership in the digital transformation era at NC Tech’s State of Technology Conference. He has also had the opportunity to address several Business Essentials classes through NC State’s Executive Education Program. His knowledge on building a successful business has helped students start on their own paths to achievement. As a native of Durham, NC, Greg ultimately decided to put down deeper roots in the Triangle to raise his family and give back to the community that influenced his career.
