One that's designed from the ground up with deep technology, patient experience, and care quality at its core.Most recently, led the informatics and clinical technology team, overseeing a group of informaticists and physician experts to harness the power of Carbon’s data through ML and automation to improve efficiency, decrease burnout, and improve outcomes for patients.Also led the Clinical Program Design team that is responsible for the design, implementation and iteration of multiple new and innovative clinical offerings. These include asynchronous follow-up visits, virtual behavioral health, population health and virtual longitudinal care, health coaching and nutrition, device integration for remote monitoring of chronic conditions, and others.

Accolade (NASDAQ: ACCD) is a leader in personalized healthcare, using a mix of care delivery, trusted support and smart technology to support employees and families while lowering healthcare costs. Accolade currently provides care for 10 million members and their families. During my time there, led the creation, development, and rollout of several large-scale product offerings. Oversaw a team of Directors working in different domains (Offering/Solution creation, Care Delivery, Operations), with my team leading the creation of company’s primary care and population health vision and execution. Led overhaul of outcome-based measurements and performance guarantees based on clinical results.

Clinical responsibilities as an internal medicine hospitalist at the SFVA Medical Center (part-time)

Worked with Office of Systems Improvement at the VA to bring about improvement in the delivery of care:- Revamped the coordination of care for patients receiving outpatient I.V. therapy to improve safety- Optimized patient admissions process- Increased efficiency and reduced wait-times for consult, ancillary, and support services- Revamped nursing allocation to align with hospital needs

- Reviewed leading journals in 13 areas of internal medicine to compile an updated evidence base currently available for all UCSF students, residents- Research in revamping the way physicians conduct rounds in order to be safer and more efficient- Research in interstitial lung disease

CareMessage is a non-profit, Stanford and Google.org-funded (amongst others), YC-graduate organization utilizing SMS-based technology to improve patient education, engagement, and chronic disease management. At CareMessage, I helped advise the creation of the content and logic for the organization’s individualized, adaptive patient education modules. CareMessage created targeted text-based campaigns for improved quality of care and alignment with ACA/PCMH guidelines.I also advised ways to launch research studies to expand the evidence base of improved outcomes and ROI for the programs.

Our research laboratory worked with single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) to find the gene(s) involved in the development of schizophrenia. We started with a candidate gene search, and progressed to a whole genome analysis (WGA), ultimately finding several genes responsible. - Managed statistical manipulation and analysis of large genetic association studies for schizophrenia- Actively participated in production of peer-reviewed articles, presentations, and grant applications- Team published in Nature and Nature Genetics for their findings (although shortly after I left)
