This early-phase company is building a multi-platform web content delivery system to inject ads into video on any smart streaming device. Leverage provided IT consulting services to the Washington DC-area business and technology community. Services included software development, IT architecture, recruiting, and staff augmentation. Technology specialties were Enterprise Java and Sharepoint.As owner and CEO, I was ultimately responsible for business development, sales, marketing, and managing the recruiting pipeline using one to four recruiters. One high point of this experience was co-authoring the technical piece of a large-partner proposal for a government contract that led to roughly 6.5$million of business over 2.5 years. Another high point was personally taking an onsite management role on our largest project. I delivered a very large software development deliverable on time. I was responsible for nine development teams totaling more than 90 people developing in eight different technologies including Java, Cobol, ASP, Microstrategy, and Siebel.

NeoKinetic Systems built a software product that enabled scalable syndication and partner-driven customization of web applications. As founder, I co-conceived the product and coded version 1.0 using java servlets and JSP tag libraries. As CTO, I built out a top-quality Java/J2EE development team, oversaw the strategic direction of our development, and instituted a QA-focused, customer-driven development process using agile development methodologies. A highlight of this experience was closing a very large sale to a Fortune 50 financial institution. Another highlight was being invited to pitch our company and product at the George Mason Business Alliance Grubstake Breakfast (a venture capital competition) which netted face-to-face meetings with several large VCs.
