About Greg Cole, M.Div., Cfre

𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. There is nothing I enjoy more than leading a team of people who are committed to increasing impact, strengthening community, and championing equity in program delivery. From my early years driving fundraising strategy at Habitat for Humanity to my current role as Executive Director at Emmaus House, community-driven mission has always been a primary motivator for me.🌀 Clearing a path for others to do their greatest work.I believe in collaboration, building a team of experts, and trusting them to do the work. As a leader, I work hard to empower others to achieve by listening closely, removing roadblocks, and providing the resources they need to realize success.🌀 Championing equity as a primary organizational value.Of all the initiatives I’ve advocated for as the Executive Director of Emmaus House, winning support to add equity to our mission focus and boosting Board diversity to 50% people of color is one I’m most proud of. Equity is now a key value in strategic planning and our staff are trained to use an equity lens when making programmatic decisions.🌀 Building a mission-based and outcome-driven culture. The following examples are outcomes that empowered mission while inspiring action in the greater community.𝗔𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿: Boosted funding 72% and elevated organizational reputation by focusing on collective action for greater impact via partnerships. 𝗔𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Catalyzed a 200% increase in total giving, 300% gains in revenue, and 50% jump in annual commitments.WHAT IS ALWAYS ON MY MIND?Partnerships. Community betterment. Advocating for the most vulnerable people in our community. I am a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2022 as well as the Annie E. Casey Results Count Leadership program. Opportunities that connect me with like-minded people, conversations with leaders about the challenges they face, and new partnerships with mission-driven organizations are always of interest to me.When I’m not at work you might find me taking care of my plants, out running, or spending some time with my 4-year-old godson. I find inspiration in many places! Please connect! 📩 gregcole[at]post[dot]harvard[dot]edu
