I was a founding member of the organization, launching a Makerspace / Hackerspace Innovation Center in collaboration with professors from Georgia Tech, Ga State, and local leaders. Our mission was to create a community for engineers, academics, artists, and local businesses and residents that championed innovation and allowed them to explore opportunities in a creative space.To get the organization up and running, I developed our wood, mechanical, and electronic shops, a 3D printing space, and several project work areas to empower individuals and workgroups to create. I also fostered culture of creativity and innovation through introducing discovery opportunities, which was in alignment with our vision for the site.
