As a Managing Partner in our Sydney office, I have the opportunity to support my client businesses to enhance performance through their people by leveraging the knowledge and experience I have gained from more than 35 years in Senior Human Resources and consulting roles in Australia, Asia and Europe. My experience enables me to provide pragmatic insights and advice grounded in a well-developed understanding of how businesses succeed and the key role people play in that success. My Commercial, HR and General Management skills were built within some of the world’s most respected businesses including Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, Cadbury Schweppes, Thorn EMI, Telstra, AAPT and UGL Limited. I’ve lived and worked in Australia, UK and Asia and have a well-honed appreciation of the challenges of working within diverse and complex environments. A key part of my career has been building world class talent for the businesses I have worked with and for. I am passionate about bringing practical, pragmatic and outcome focused solutions to organisational challenges. I have a passion for building strategy, developing talent and driving outcomes that support business performance. I enjoy working with people and building and maintaining relationships based on trust and respect. My career experience has encompassed a broad spectrum of disciplines and functions. In addition to my broad Human Resources experience, I have managed IT, Quality and Risk, Communications, Project Management Office (PMO) and Business Improvement. I have led substantial re-organisation, rationalisation, capability improvement and innovative talent acquisition and development initiatives. I am an experienced facilitator, coach and mentor to executives across all disciplines. I have a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology. I’m married with two adult daughters, have a passion for music (I’m a closet drummer!!), like a good wine, a good laugh and a good party!
