I spent four years in the U. S. Navy, stationed overseas for four years. During that time I worked in accounting, supply, logistics, and order procurement, and I was able to travel to many parts of the world. After the Navy I worked in accounts receivables for five years, then moved to a new company as an accounts receivable supervisor with a new startup medical supply company. During that time I was intricately involved in developing and implementing the accounts receivables rules and regulations. My team and I were able to lower the receivabls from well over 120 days old to under the company's target of 60 days in less than one year. After three years the company sold for a healthy profit to one of the largest competitors in the industry. Shortly after the sell I started to pursue a bachelor's in accounting, at the same time started working with my current employer of 17 years as a financial analyst. Later I was promoted to incentive settlement consultant. I'm looking to be a mutual partner to a company that can use my talents, and I will continue to learn and grow. Throughout my career I learned the processes in place and modified them to make the work more accurate and efficient.
