Responsible for managing the day to day operation of the engineering department which includes the preperation and submittal of calculations, design drawings for Mechanicaly Stablized Earth (MSE) walls, three sided structures, and sound walls and the preperation of production/fabrication drawings. This includes a high level of contact with our clients, goverment agencies and our production staff. I am also responsible for assisting with the production scheduling, tracking projects from contract to completion, monitoring the flow of work to our production facility, working closly with our outside consultants to determine the most efficient solution to the challanges of each project. As well as, hiring and training new team members and working together with our estimating department to ensure our bids are acurate and on time. I am also part of the team working through the approval process of our MSE wall system for various states. Show less
