JSON Schema is an open source specification which was originally created as a language-agnostic way to validate JSON data. Since then it has grown to also provide developers with a common means to easily accomplish other development tasks, like data annotation and code and UI generation. JSON Schema impacts all business sectors and industries. This is a passion project for me, which I continue to work on in my free time.As a member of the Technical Steering Committee (TSC) for JSON Schema, I actively contribute to the evolution of this industry-critical standard. My responsibilities span specification development, organization administration, and community support. Over the past year, I led efforts to develop a new publication process, ensuring stability between releases, making it easier for tooling maintainers to support newer versions and for developers to update their schemas with confidence that their system will not break. Additionally, I engage with our global community through platforms like GitHub, Slack, and StackOverflow. To foster inclusivity, I facilitate office hours targeting the APAC region.
