LiveFleet is the Schulte Group's web & mobile reporting platform. Our customers and business partners (major shipping groups, mining and oil & gas companies, banks and investment firms) benefit from near real-time operational, technical and financial information for their ships under our management.As the product owner for LiveFleet, I was responsible for :• Coordinating the development and launch of a new platform and its adoption with the group's 10 Ship Management Centers and their respective clients.• Analyzing and optimizing business processes in the 20+ modules of our ERP software, to increase efficiency and data quality throughout the platform.• Managing feedback and requests from stakeholders, including clients, group executives and other product owners• Planning, testing and releasing new features, working closely with a team of software engineers and designers• Providing training and support to a cross-functional team spread across our 10 main locations worldwide

At the end of my training program, I was given the opportunity to join the Group Reporting team. I was a part of a small team responsible for building an online reporting platform for several joint venture partners, which was later expanded and deployed to all the Group's third-party clients as well.

Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement is a maritime services company and a market leader in ship management, with a fleet of 650 vessels.As a trainee with the Group Supply Chain Management team, my responsibilities included:• Coordinating the global tender processes for ship supplies (technical stores, spare parts, provisions) and electronic navigational charts• Negotiating contract prices and volume-related discounts with the vendors selected for each item category and geographical location• Maintaining the procurement management system with quantitative and qualitative information about each supplier

The Minis are the smallest offshore sailing class in the world. Every second year, around 80 sailors take part in the Mini Transat, a 4,000 nautical mile solo yacht race across the Atlantic.As an intern with the Classe Mini Association:• Conducted a study with the objective of helping the race organizers deliver better events at a reduced cost. Planned meetings with various stakeholders (yacht club management and volunteers, event suppliers, maritime authorities), analyzed processes, financial data and statistics • Handled general administration tasks: accounting, race entry documents, yacht measurement certificates• Assisted the non-French-speaking skippers by providing English translations (notices of race, sailing instructions, weather & safety briefings, newsletters, etc.)
