- Hired by the founding team to lead the engineering team through rapid growth and change post-Series B.- Matured the organization through building and implementing hiring and performance management practices, SOC2 compliance, and other engineering practices as the company scaled.- Established cross-functional product teams and collaborated with leaders across the business to ensure engineering’s alignment with business strategy and objectives.

- Hired by the founding team to lead the company through complex challenges including a product pivot, adoption of remote-first practices, a fundraising round, and tripling company headcount.- Improved retention, productivity and eNPS by creating people-first policies and establishing processes for hiring, performance management & compensation.- Managed 17 engineers and coached several through leadership development.

- Worked in a client-facing role as an engineer and leader in the healthcare industry on HIPAA compliant products -building products, proof of concepts and teams to help clients achieve their objectives (specific engagements documented below).- Co-managed a satellite office during its growth from 5 to 20 team members. Hired 8 engineers with an average retention of 4.5 yrs (and counting).

- Created cloud infrastructure components & automated tests using Terraform, Terratest, AWS, Go, Docker & Jenkins.

- Significantly grew our largest client by managing multiple teams and projects successfully over the course of several years.- Hired and led 3 engineering teams. Trained and promoted existing engineers into team lead roles.- Led the integration of 2 healthcare platforms and drove the 24-month project from conception to completion. Led the technical strategy and org-wide collaborative effort while managing 2 development teams on the project.

- Designed and developed the front-end, back-end, and DB schema for ~10 new modules in the PCC SAAS long-term care system using Java, Spring, JQuery, and SQL Server.

- Developed a Java REST API using Spring (MVC, Data, AOP) and Hibernate with auditing, logging, and monitoring.

- Developed distributed system services in Java using inter-process communication (sockets, RMI, HTTP) and multi-threading.- Improved the reliability and maintainability of several system services by developing integration tests, performance & API testing tools, and performing pen testing via BurpSuite.

- Provided technical support for clients of our warehouse management & logistics systems by troubleshooting and resolving OS, database, and application server issues.
