I have over 30+ years IT experience with the past 28+ of those years being directly involved in testing. During this time I've worked in a range of industries including insurance, banking, government, telecommunications and payroll. I have been exposed to various development methodologies, with the latest experience being with Agile and DevOps. The roles have been a mixture of both permanent and contracting positions.I have been associated with all aspects of functional and non-functional testing from the development of test plans/strategies to the set up of test environments, the execution of tests and the subsequent reporting and feedback of the test results to development and management groups. For the last couple of years I have been a contributor to the https://mark59.com project.Mark59 is an open-source Java-based set of tools, with the aim of providing the capability of performance testing applications in a regular, repeatable manner, by having a focus on the automated detection of SLA breaches in a test, and highlighting trends and issues with the application under test over time. It is designed so that this is achievable without necessarily needing to have purely specialist performance test skills.
Listed skills include Testing, Telecommunications, Test Cases, Sdlc, and 34 others.
