Over the past 7 years I've been working to combine a background and education in business and project management with a new-found passion for developing no-code applications and sites. Working with founders and visionaries to create or improve their projects introduced me to the start-up world and allowed me to study what leads to success, from both a human and industry perspective.In 2018 I took my first foray into starting my own business. Working with my co-founder, Daniel Campos, we spent three years planning, developing, testing and, unfortunately, winding down Portugal’s first supermarket comparison site. I’m incredibly proud of what we developed and the technology we harnessed, though unfortunately we couldn’t get the revenue model to work as we’d underestimated the effect of external dependencies on our operational model.In 2021 I started working with Sam Royle to develop an MVP for SoSquared. After 6 months of development and a successful pre-seed funding round, in April 2022 we launched SoSquared.com, a marketplace for brands and influencers to come together to collaborate and create incredible UGC. In the first 6 months of being live we’ve signed up over 400 influencers and 50 brands and are an official business partners of Meta and TikTok. We’ve got the solid foundation and traction we were hoping for, and now we’re looking to raise a seed round in Q1 2023.
