This saved ING over $200K/year on Hardware and Software costs, insures software currency, and reduced the labor costs to support the environments. • Process Owner for a Six Sigma project that reduced the load times of our largest ETL schedule by 40%, reduced the number of abends by 50% and improved data integrity. Since that project officially concluded, has continued to improve these numbers 2 fold! (ING Six Sigma Green Belt.)• On-boarded production support of 8 additional ETL applications over the past several years, without any increase in staff.• Involved in several Vendor POCs. Most recently worked with IBM on a schedule conversion "robot". My team proved the concept and converted over 4,000 jobs from ING’s old scheduler to TWS, under extremely tight time lines, which saved ING a $900,000 fee in the first year.• Participated in multiple data center rehostings, server consolidations and software upgrade projects. Experienced in moving apps to completely different operating systems (Unix to Linux), different RDMSs (Oracle to DB2), and to newer versions of existing OSs, DBMSs, and software. -
