I started working when I was about 15 years old with my dad at a small heavy equipment business. After school or on weekends I would help him most. While I was there, I learned basic machine controls, fabrication skills, welding and learned how to drive dump trucks with manual transmission. When I obtained my drivers license, I got my own job at Wilderness Lodge, a cabin rental/canoe rental company. I worked there for two years. During summers I would keep up with grounds work, cleaning the cabins and cooking/cleaning in the kitchen with the owner. During the winter season I would prepare the campground for the next season by cleaning the roadways, remodeling, or repairing various items or vehicles.When I was about 17 years old, I enrolled at Mingo Job corps. Mingo is a trade school where I obtained my GED and completed the heavy equipment certifications in just seven months. January of 2018, Mingo then sent me to Denver, Co to work at a drilling company, Coggins and Sons. I worked there for five short months. I was a general laborer or oiler. The company was not a fit for me so I returned to Missouri to join Union Local 513 and start working for Budrovich Excavating. I have now been employed by them for five and a half years. I operate various equipment styles including dozers, excavators, scrapers, skid steers and more. During the winter season, work becomes slow and income is limited making it difficult to keep up with bills and supporting my small family.In the first weeks of May '23, I was introduced to a new style of work. Entrepreneurship. Learning about this immediately changed my goals for myself and my growing family. It showed me that there are many more opportunities to learn, grow, help others and become financially free. After learning about the Amway Business, I quickly realized that growth is always limited with employment. Anything can happen and take that away from me. Growing in the Amway business, I now have the opportunity to build enough passive income to be able to retire early and have more time with my family as well as re-create my dreams and fulfill my life goals. Helping people grow to their potential is what will lead me to my goals and the Amway Business is the perfect environment to so. In the environment, everyone is a business owner so we all have the same basic goal. Help others to build passive income.
