Director Of Global End User ServicesMcafee Jan 2012 - Jan 2017San Jose, California, UsResponsible for Global IT End User Services, a team of 120 employees and contractors located in 31 offices worldwide accountable for Global Service Desk and Field Operations, Enterprise Client Services, Operations Service Management and IT components of facilities construction projects. Ownership over the $11M IT OpEx budget for this organization.• Led two IT tracks for the integration of McAfee into Intel, Client Services and Service Desk. The result was an on-time, on-budget program delivering 8,000 laptops converted to the Intel image in five months and the outsourcing of my entire organization.• Envisioned and sponsored the PC Centralization project which pulled all CapEx PC purchases from the business cost centers to a central IT cost center. This resulted in longer asset lifecycles, a 5 year, $1M reduction in annual PC CapEx spend, and shortening the SLA to five days from order to receipt.• Outsourced PC builds to a value-added reseller allowing Field Operations resources to focus on higher value tasks and reducing the overall cost of this service by 50% in many regions.• Established a comprehensive service scorecard to illustrate the performance of End User Services and consistently communicated progress on our service scorecard to our leadership as well as individual contributors to ensure buy-in.• Reorganized and optimized the Global End User Services team shifting lower utilized Field Operations resources to the Enterprise Client Services team which doubled the bandwidth of that team without impact to Field Operations service levels and had no overall budget impact.• Restarted the Windows XP to Windows 7 upgrade project resulting in the completion of all the upgrades in a 15-month period well in advance of the Windows XP retirement with no additional funding or staff. -

Teams were responsible for supporting all applications and systems.* Requested to lead the Target.com team to prepare them for the project to insource the Amazon.com functionality back within the IT organization (code named: Everest).* Worked closely with the Target.com finance director to understand opportunities with our finance system, taking them back to our IT Shared Services partners to develop a project to make those enhancements a reality.* Developed a project to optimize the automated entertainment data feed responsible for publishing newly released titles in those categories immediately to Target.com. This optimization project added 150,000 items to our catalog taking the publish success rate from 50% to 90+%.* Envisioned, developed and achieved broad IT and business leadership buy-in for a project to enhance the stability of a critical system within Target.com.* Achieved an extremely positive Leadership Index of 93%.
