I am a Senior Geophysicist with over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. I am capable of interpreting large 3D and 2D data sets in order to identify various prospect types and recommending drilling locations. In the past 5 years, I have worked on all of the major interpretation workstations including Landmark, GeoQuest, Kingdom, SeisX, Seisware and Winpics. Internationl work experience includes England (both on and offshore), offshore West Coast Africa, Chad, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Columbia, Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad, Republic of Palau, Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia, and the United States of America.

Applied sequence stratigraphic interpretation to identify the prospective stratigraphic zones. Constructed crossplots of various well log attributes to determine the feasibility of AVO and LMR applications. Applied AVO and LMR techniques to determine areas of best reservoir quality and then constructed reservoir thickness maps for various geologic stratigraphic intervals. Picked the best location and prepared presentation to show to prospective partners to get the well drilled.• Devonian Nisku Reefs are difficult to differentiate on seismic from the offsetting shales. AVO and LMR techniques proved unreliable. Time slicing down from a reliable horizon and paying particular attention to the amplitudes over a very limited window, resulted in the drilling of two very successful wells.• Responsible for the drilling of approximately 100 wells with a success rate in the order of 80%.
