Managing and leading in respect of a bulk caseload of cases whilst assisting a supervising solicitor with other complex probate, criminal cases etc.Leading the pre-litigation department, training and leading a new team in a new office, together with generating precedent templates and processes to meet company deadlines, whilst assisting HR with general and administrative team leader duties, such as holiday entitlement etc.Leading the post-litigation department, together with managing departmental workload, delegating work, assisting the team in achieving targets, delivering training and one-to-one meetings to progress and upskill the team, being a point of escalation, assisting in the design and implementation of new procedures on emerging issues or improving existing processes.Attending hearings on behalf of clients including final hearings, applications etc.Building relationships with long standing clients, tailoring advice and services to exceed expectations, provide reports and analysis of bulk cases.Drafting and preparing legal documents including but not limited to witness statements, etc. and other litigation associated documentation;Handling complex cases and files raised from within the team or otherwise take conduct of files that were exceedingly complex, confidential, or related to vulnerability concerns etc.Assisting supervising solicitor in private client claims not falling within the scope of the department.Investigating liability and quantum, assessing prospects of success for claims and prospect of successful recovery, using a specialised case management system, Proclaim and the Microsoft suite.Organisation, accurate updating, and maintenance of case files to meet cost targets and deadlines.Preparing and reviewing files in readiness for upcoming hearings and deliver instructions to counsel / advocates in hearings.Applying logic and experience to ensure effective case management and accurate time recording.
