As an Account Manager, I was primarily involved in: -Project Proposals-Project management -Presentation construction-Client presentations -Client management-Profitability management-Timeline analysis and workflow monitoring-Insight Development -Statistical Guidance & Mentoring.Clients include FMCG, Banking, Insurance, Community, and others.

I was involved with research design, implementation, analysis and reporting. I was involved in every step of the research process, from questionnaire design to client report back. My role involved both quantitative as well as qualitative analysis, from using statistical programs such as Espri, to moderating focus groups and qualitative analysis. I was a senior executive in the company, and as such my role also involved mentoring less experiences colleagues, project guidance and business strategy. Our clients included Coca-Cola, Unilever, Colgate, Deloitte, Liberty, Cell C, Edcon, McDonalds, SAB, ABSA, Nandos, Kelloggs, Telkom, MTN, FNB and Hollard to name a few.

Lecturing research design and analysis to the third year psychology students. This course involved research design (sample, questionnaire, psychometric analysis), Analysis and Reporting. Special attention was given to issues of validity, reliability, bias and fairness in psychometric testing and analysis.

Worked as a Senior Market Research Analyst as BASES, a specialized division within Nielsen Market Research Company. As a Senior Analyst, my role involved consulting with clients on their planned innovation, marketing and positioning strategies for new product launches. I was involved with the analysis of consumer data and the composition of reports that provide valuable insight into our clients’ new products. I worked closely with proprietary forecasting tools to forecast sales and evaluate the conceptual and product based reception of new initiatives before they are launched. I prepared proposals and designed projects that addressed the individual needs of our clients, ranging from Unilever, Coke, Colgate Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, SAB Breweries and more.

Was employed as a PEPFAR Fellow, an American organisation affiliated with the Foundation of Professional Development (FPD). Being a top Masters student in the country, I was placed by FPD in an organisation called Mindset Network, being my host organisation. I worked as a senior researcher in the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation team where I was involved in all projects across Mindset Learn and Health. I was been involved in designing, implementing and evaluating research projects and programmes across the country and abroad, such as Botswana and Kenya. I have been involved in conducting focus groups, face to face interviews, telephonic interviews, programme evaluation, report writing, as well as observational field work. Part of my duties involved creating connections with funders and governmental employees and maintaining these relationships, while liaising with contractors. I was involved in every aspect of the research process from creating to amending instruments, to carrying out the fieldwork and capturing data. Through this job I gained good experience in working on donor funded projects – large international donors such as PEPFAR, Global Fund, CDC and South African organisations such as the Nelson Mandela Foundation, and corporate CSI projects for Liberty, Standard Bank, Nokia, Microsoft, Department of Health, Department of Education as well as others.

Worked as a Learning Systems Content Designer, preparing lesson material for students at the film school AFDA within the Interstasis Company. Primary responsibilities included researching academic material to be taught to the students, preparing the content, lecturing the content as well as designing potential new business models at AFDA.
