I will be graduating from Lamar University in May 2024 with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Management, and then I will go on to get my Masters of Business Administration in Accounting starting in August 2024 and ending in August 2025. I completed my first three years of college as a music education/performance major, but when I realized I did not want to pursue a career in music anymore during the summer after my junior year, I switched to a degree in finance. When I switched degrees, I also enrolled in the Lamar Online Accelerated Program, which meant that I would take classes in half the time online to finish my classes quicker. I worked a few part time jobs during my first three years as an in-person college student, but I got a full-time job in January 2023 as a teller for Prosperity Bank when I switched to getting my bachelors online. My ability to receive a 3.9 GPA in finance classes since switching majors while holding a full-time job exemplifies my ability to be an extremely hard worker, which is my proudest trait.
