Gregg’s Gardens can provide a full landscaping service for areas within the school grounds including hard and soft landscaping, creation of raised beds for plant growing, water features, ponds and maintenance.Our passion, however, is working with young people. We provide a vocational training service for schools and youth services in order to help students benefit from a non-classroom based educational environment.Working alongside teachers, we encourage students to get involved in a range of activities from design through to construction and maintenance. Fencing, path and patio laying and bricklaying are among the skills that can be taught to the students throughout the process of garden creation.Advice can also be given to the students on the ongoing maintenance of the garden, organic vegetable and plant growing and composting. Environmental issues are integral to such schemes and students are encouraged to use recycled materials where possible.Following the Government’s review of vocational courses, the opportunities that Gregg’s Gardens Ltd affords to young people continue to be relevant in the modern curriculum.
