About .Gregg Benedikt

I'm an award-winning Creative Director, Marketer, and Problem-Solver. Someone recently asked me an age-old question, “If you could do anything in this world, what would it be?” To their astonishment, I said, “I’d be a creative in advertising.”I love what I do. It’s that simple. It's been a roller-coaster of a career and I wouldn't change a thing. (Well, maybe one. A time we all wore overalls to a new business pitch, but that's a long story.) Over the years, I've worked at many of the major agencies in New York – and even a few minor ones. That experience has helped me develop a simple creative philosophy:Every client is different. Every brand is different. Every problem you are trying to solve is different.In addition, my passion and knowledge about advertising have been brought to the classroom. Many years ago, I started teaching a conceptual / big idea / portfolio-building course at the School of Visual Arts. And now I teach at the City University of New York.
