Initially started as an online support administrator providing support for both Windows and FreeBSD (Unix variant) to many game server users, this was accomplished though Telephone, ‘Live’ IRC or Email. Multiplay also host "LAN parties", where I continued to be a part of the customer services division, setting up and provisioning of end-user technical support for the UK’s largest (2600+ users) LAN gaming event. Including assisting in the set up of a large temporary network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues and providing a Help Desk for users. My work has expanded into the realms of media production, providing systems for video editing, live production, internet streaming. Working with Newtek Tricasters, ATEM production switchers and Blackmagic video converters. Projectors and large screen distribution networks along with Adobe Photoshop and Premier for graphics and VOD content production.

Responsibilities included diagnosing and repairing customer systems, ordering replacement parts and adhering to the SLA’s set out by the company. In addition to these roles I have been a part of software testing and issue replication, providing detailed reports to R&D to produce fixes against.

Freelance Video And Stream Engineer
Focusing primarily on live event video production work. I have operated and supported Edirol and BTS vision mixing desks, Kramer, Pro-bel and Extron routing matricies and bespoke graphic/titling systems at the World Cyber Games 2009 Grand Final in Chengdu, China. Provided interstitial panels, motion graphic overlays and short channel ident stingers for DirecTV's Championship Gaming Series in the US. With the output medium primarily being internet broadcast, using Adobe's Flash and Microsoft Windows Media Encoders with H264 and WMV codecs to ensure end client compatibility. Working in post production using a mixture of Adobe's CS4 Photoshop, Premier, After Effects and Rhozet/Grass Valley Procoder packages, I have had to develop a keen eye for visual communication and produced video-on-demand content for such events as the Crossfire Intel Challenge which took place in Enchede, Netherlands.
