Provided research and drafting support to local attorneys in the prosecution of cases of forced labor child trafficking. Aided the team in forming a long-term legal strategy to increase the viability of prosecuting trafficking offense in Ghana. Designed a legal data tool to assist in monitoring, evaluating, and increasing the effectiveness of our casework, and of the public justice system in Ghana. Assisted in forming a national coalition of NGOs to advocate against child trafficking in Ghana. Other duties included litigation support, file management, and improving interdepartmental cooperation.

Greater Atlanta Area

Duties included drafting opinions and orders, reviewing applications for discretionary and interlocutory appeal, reviewing the work of two fellow staff attorneys, and preparing bench briefs and reports on recent developments in the law.

Participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom 2004-2005 and 2006-2007.Responsible for the training, well being, and utilization of a four-member infantry fire-team. This included the deployment and use of the fire-team in combat operations, ensuring that the soldiers under my command conducted themselves in keeping with Army regulations as well as good military order, and seeing that my soldiers were afforded educational and vocational opportunities. Machined over $1 million of forged steel and aluminum to precise specifications within 1/100 of an inch. Oversaw the delicate and inexact process of heat treatment of forged steel. Responsible for many finishing processes for products including safety equipment for telephone linesman and lumberjacks; mistakes in many of the processes could have resulted in injury or death for the users of the equipment.

Israel

I was tasked with the delicate task of cross-pollinating, pruning, and caring for the Kibbutz’s fields of Date trees. The crop of dates constituted the single largest source of income for the Kibbutz. Furthermore on the weekends I served as a bartender for members of the Kibbutz as well as the multinational group of volunteers I worked with.
