Currently the Director for BGE's Structural Engineering practice in North Texas. Our group provides internal and external structural designs, including traditional heavy highway designs, along with specialty designs for BGE's Public Works team, such as Mechanical Housing, Equipment Foundations, Valve Vaults, and more.I also oversee our group's business planning and strategy, including positioning and pursuit of solicitations, proposal writing, client interviews, and contract negotiations. I have grown our staff to five FTEs of various experience levels. As a part of the 2021 Associate Class, I had the opportunity to complete an Associate Project where I developed a Technical Career Path for employees looking to focus their careers on technical expertise. I was given the opportunity to present my recommendations for this new career path to the BGE Board of Directors for incorporation into the program.
