I lead my firm's Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Practice Group. I have a nationwide bankruptcy and creditors' rights practice focused on representing landlords, real estate developers, aircraft lessors, lenders, hotels, suppliers, and various other secured and unsecured creditors. I represent landlords in enforcing their lease rights in commercial tenants’ bankruptcy cases, and represent real estate developers and other parties seeking to buy commercial real estate and other assets of troubled companies in bankruptcy court.I also devote a significant portion of my practice to commercial litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, and ADA matters in (non-bankruptcy) courts and forums. My litigation practice includes representing commercial landlords in lease and guaranty enforcement, unlawful detainer, and other landlord-tenant and real property disputes and litigation; defending commercial real property owners, hotels, and other businesses in Americans with Disabilities Act litigation including web accessibility litigation; defending businesses in preference, fraudulent transfer, and other debtor-creditor litigation; contract, lease, and other commercial litigation for hotels/hotel management companies; and credit card payment processing lien disputes.
