Here I combined my editorial and finishing skills for various marketing and sales videos for the Sims team, including "Simlish, Behind the Scenes" which features recording artists singing their songs in the language of the Sims.

For John Woo's "Red Cliff", I was able to combine my skills as an editor and a compositor to work on this film as the Visual Effects Editor. I worked with the Visual Effects Supervisor to flesh out effects shots offline and then provide the compositors with the necessary elements to bring those shots to life.

As a member of the Sabre (Inferno/Flame) department, I learned the craft of visual effects compositing.I was a visual effects compositor for “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”, “Nightmare Before Christmas 3D”, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest”, “Jarhead”, “The Island”, “XXX: State of the Union”, “The Bourne Supremacy”, “Master and Commander: The Far Side Of The World”, “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl”, “Peter Pan”, “Van Helsing” and “Hulk”.

For PDI/Dreamwork’s commercial division (CAFE), I was the editor for the Intel Pentium 4 Alien campaign spot “Thriller”, and I also performed Flame finishing for other spots in this campaign. I also edited pieces for PDI’s Siggraph 2004 presentations.

At Western I transitioned from traditional linear offline and online platforms to non-linear offline with Avid, and non-linear compositing and finishing with Quantel Henry and Autodesk Flame. Editorial and Composite projects include broadcast packages for the Golden State Warriors and ESPN Boxing. I provided on-line editorial and main title design for the Lucasfilm Ltd. series “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles”. I also provided editorial and finishing for featurettes for CBS Sports and Turner Sports, and I worked with a host of editorial companies and advertising agencies for various commercial and other projects.

Joining Positive Video, which later became Group Andre Perry, allowed me to concentrate on post production. I was an editorial assistant and was promoted to editor. I worked on various commercial and corporate projects.
