Gregg S. Hershenson is an experienced entrepreneur, founder, board member, C-level executive, producer and investor with experience in software, life sciences, real estate and entertainment/media. Mr. Hershenson is currently CEO/Founder of AutoConnect Holdings and Co-Founder of Waveguide Corporation. He was formerly a General Partner of JMM Partners and New Technology Ventures and a Venture Partner at Axon Capital of Madrid, Spain. Mr. Hershenson was an advisor to the MIT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative, a founding member of the advisory board of the Massachusetts Nanotechnology Exchange (now part of MITX), and on the board of the New England International Nanotechnology Workshop at Northeastern University. He is a former Trustee at The Stoneridge Montessori School in Beverly MA and previously on the board of Day 2 Productions, a multi-award-winning digital media company based in London.In the past, Gregg was a successful entrepreneur in the music industry. He has had his songs on the charts in Europe and on college radio in the US. Gregg has also composed and produced music for film and television and has written, recorded and performed with many distinguished musicians; including members of Counting Crows, ‘Til Tuesday and SSD. Gregg was trained at The New England Conservatory of Music where he studied classical voice and composition under many world-renowned artists. He has sung with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (with Seiji Ozawa and Antal Dorati) and has performed at Lincoln Center in New York City with legendary choral conductor Lorna Cooke deVaron.Gregg lives on the coast north of Boston with his family. He is a lifelong meditator and enjoys the beach and mountain biking when time allows.
