I'm an operations professional with 9+ years working in senior-level operations roles. I came to this career path serendipitously after graduating with a masters degree in Psychology. While completing my master’s internship I was connected to an individual opening a new healthcare facility in Connecticut. After completing my graduate program, I took a chance and moved to CT in order to help build this company. While there I was tasked with multiple business operations functions and quickly learned that I had a knack for this type of work. I’ve always had a passion for process and process improvement, particularly in how it intersects with technology. This first role helped to define that passion and served as the framework from which I would build my career.My experience broadly includes business operations, operations development, strategic planning and leadership, vendor and resource management, systems and process automation, and project management. I am driven, resourceful, and pride myself on building enterprise solutions that focus on team continuity rather than siloed working environments. Colleagues would describe me as a calm but persistent leader who tackles problems through collaboration and by directly helping with the work. Whenever possible I strive to understand and experience day-to-day operations authentically, using knowledge gained to proactively build solutions and mitigate risk. I look at operations in terms of business growth goals, implementing systems and procedures that will work within the current ecosystem of an organization and ensuring they will endure as the company evolves.
