Summer Internship with the Housekeeping Department at the Horseshoe Bay Resort, in the Texas Hill Country. Internship consisted of working in every sub-department of the Housekeeping Department. Work circuit included being a Housekeeper, Houseman, and Supervisor in multiple parts of the resort. Supervision duties included time management of staff, distribution of hotel linen to (and from) different locations, as well as ensuring a final walk-thru is completed before a guest checks into a room or unit.

Assist guests and Member of the resort with anything they may need at their time at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Marina. Most common tasks that we assist our guests and members with are:- Launching boats and assisting them in finding their designated slip- Valet of Member's boats from the Marina to the front, as well as providing basic cleaning, fueling, and even the option of loading the vessel's cooler up with predetermined things that the member would like.- Boat and WaveRunner rentals, from paperwork to pushing the guest off of the dock, we carefully walk our Members and Guests through every step of the Check-In and Check-Out process of our pontoon boats and our Wave Runners to ensure the greatest amount of leisure possible. - Most common responsibility with this position is being a boat driver/captain. This includes taking groups on the the beautiful Lake LBJ and teaching them anything they would like to learn including wakeboarding and wakesurfing! As well as tubes which are pulled behind the MasterCraft Skiboats.
