As the Chief Systems Engineer / Architect my role is to serve as the company lead for overall solution design/development and delivery. The ability to translate complex engineering jargon and concepts to readily understandable language while maintaining the technical content is the most relied upon skill that I provide to the organization. At Sensus Metering we develop, deploy and operate fixed networks to enable communications to various metering endpoints (Electric, Gas and Water), as well as control devices for SCADA type applications. My role is to oversee the development of the data collection system from SW to high availability configurations and networking. We also provide hosted services to our customers in our hosting facility which provides full 24 x 7 operations. I am the key contact to our customer base as well as the primary lead to potential clients.
